2 pm Commandant d'Armies AMIENS called on G.O.C. and expressed appreciation of splendid conduct of troops of the Brigade during stay in area. No cases of Looting had occurred.

12-30 am Bde Headqrs moved to J.19.c.2.3. 9th Bde relieved 12th A.I.Bde in Left Bde Area "B" Division - 33rd on the Right, 34th on the Left and 35th Bn in Reserve. At present impossible to reach front line by daylight.

One Coy, 3rd Pioneer Bn placed at the disposal of the Brigade. This Coy to operate as an independent unit and hold the line on right of the Bde Sector. Situation quiet.

35th Bn relieving the 33rd Bn in the Right Bn Area. Active patrolling.
21-7-18
1-5 am 33rd relieved 34th Bn in Left Bn Area. 3rd Pioneer Bn took over Right Sector.
Dispositions were now as follows :-
"A" Bn 3rd Pioneer Bn (less 2 Coys) - Right Line
"B" Battn 35th Bn - Centre Line
"C" Battn 33rd Bn - Left Line
"D" Battn 34th Bn - Support
