German Headquarters,

Sir:-                 
I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of your letter addressed to   Lieutenant Colonel Watson, regarding a number of White Reservists having recently landed, and marching yesterday   in the direction of Toma.   The copy of the Orders you have sent them is received, and the British Outposts have been instructed when these Men arrive under a Flag of Truce, to conduct them to the Military Authorities at Rabaul or Herbertshohe. I have communicated the contents  of your despatch to the Brigadier commanding at Rabaul.

I have also to acknowledge receipt of your letter addressed   to
Colonel Watson concerning the arrival of yourself and party at Herbertshohe at Noon today. You will be met on arrival by the Brigade Major, and the Brigadier's wishes communicated to you.
