HMAS Berrima
Fairfax Harbour
6th Sept 14

Dear Murray
I am at present acting under the instructions of the Admiral and as far as I know there is no instruction of immediately occupying the Stations you mention at German New Guinea - I quite anticipate however that Fredrick Wilhelmshafen will be garrisoned by us later on after all Wireless Stations have been accounted for
I shall probably see the Admiral on 9th inst and will show him your note.
Commander Stevenson RN tells me he uses Slaters Code and also the Emergency Vocabulary, the latter is I understand a Naval Code only.
Thank you very much for your Good wishes
Yours Sincerely

His Excellency
Colonel JH Murray CMG
