Lieut. R.N. Norman: A bright and dashing young Officer, plenty of ability and tact; as Garrison Adjutant at Rabaul his services have given every satisfaction. Would recommend this Officer for staff work.
Lieut E,W. Kirke: Capable, reliable and painstaking; his work as both Garrison Adjutant and since with his Company, has been very satisfactory.
Lieut. J.M. McDowell: An Officer of average ability.
Lieut. A.L.E. Cooper: Keen, capable and steady young Officer; his service and Company work have been carried out to my entire satisfaction.
Lieut. P.K.B. Quinn: A promising young Officer, steady and zealous; his Company work satisfactory.
Lieut. I.B. Sherbon: A capable and dashing young Officer, keen at his work and tactful with his men; his Company work was quite satisfactory. I recommend this Officer for further service with confidence.
Lieut. K. Chambers: A promising young Officer, capable and keen. On duty with Major Martin; his work has been quite satisfactory. Accompanied Expedition as Supernumerary.
Lieut. Bruce: A careful and painstaking young Officer, rather reserved but conscientious and steady. His work has been quite satisfactory. Accompanied Expedition as Supernumerary.
Lieut G.O. Manning: This Officer has little Military knowledge, but his personality and strong character proved of great value, while his knowledge of Native affairs was availed of in the conduct of the Department. This Officer is remaining for further service.
Lieut. H.C. Collins: Appointed on probation 20-11-'14. Has had previous Military service, well-trained, keen and capable Officer. Anxious for further service.
Lieut. W.M. Penly: Appointed on probation 20-11-'14. Young, keen and promising Officer. Shaping well.
