Padre turned up last night after a long cruise round the country, he had lost everything except a small hand bag. The Divis Ammunition column had already 2 padres.
Sent yesterday all surplus kit to 10th Brigade Store - don't expect to see it again (it was lost 16.6.18).
Am relieved again from transport but am rapidly getting that way that I don't give a flick of the finger where I go.
We are going down by train to Doullens, expect to see something of life in the Somme.
Fritz is shelling Paris, range of gun, 70 miles, this range is tremendous.
Took train at St, Omer, left about 1 pm & past thro pretty country to Doullens. Train at platform St Poll [St Pol] was a heap of ashes & old iron. From Doullens, a lovely little place, the train continued to Mondecourt.
