They are stopping this caper tonight by lobbing a machine gun barrage on rear first & afterwards the MG's will fall into the general line of Artillery Barrage. I wonder what sort of yarns old Fritz put up after last nights stunt, I'll bet he used some pretty long words.
Verry lights from one spot kept going up right thro the stunt right up to the end, he must have been game. A sniper near the river kept going till near the end, I wonder what happened to him.
