George St, with banners flying and bands bleating. As we approached our respective churches sections each sect divide off & made for its church. After service we marched to Hyde Park where we were formally dismissed.
So it has ever been; from ancient Babylon of 6,000 years ago, through all the ages Grecian, Roman, Chinee, & Toltec, to the present day. Men have gone forth to fight against their enemies, under the blessings of their Priests and oracles; and fought & died in the belief of a "Nirvana", a future for all. Shall they be decieved! who knows? We are but children on the seashore of eternity, and we must follow that winding shore till the ship of il Azrael comes for us. Some leave footprints & castles on the sand behind, for others to build from, some leave nothing at all. It's a strange world.
