Injustice seems so often in these reinforcements that I do not wonder at some men grumbling. Influence and money seem to count here as elsewhere
Still I do not despair as I feel sure my Major will do his best to put matters right
I have been taken away from the Aerodrome Camp and am now camped with my Majors staff and have a slight better position.
Part of my duty is to travel down to Suez Port and meet the boats from Australia as they come in, for certain reasons.
There is a good deal of responsibility in this job and it is rather a feather in my cap to have been selected for it.
I shall get on again dear for yours and our childrens sakes. But I am wild about them reducing your money. Oh the bitter things that happen in the army. It is cruel. Good men do their best
There is no justice, and [indecipherable] gives such unholy power to the wreatch [wretch] and scoundrel.
The everlasting fighting uphill which i have to do always, would get many a man down but not me. I am going to win and have my day in the end
