French leave. The Police stopped me at the back gate through which I went and asked me if I was one of the convalescents and I said no I was from the horse camp. I had to say something & he took my word and I caught a train and I enjoyed the run into Alexandria. It is a fine little Town and I consider much cleaner than Cairo. I went to the Greek Hospital & saw the chums who were there when I was in the place. Took them a bottle of whisky etc. Had a good meal. Sent parcel to Mum. Visited Presbyterian Mission.
