2/ some time ago that he had sent a proof out to Pater. But I'm in hopes that now the book is on the Slatts[?]. I'm expecting quite a big sale, 'cos so many people will be giving books etc to the returned soldiers & I think they will like "Love Letters" & "Bluegum' so the Christmas demand should be good. Heres hopin'.
It is not quite so hot here now, but it is far warmer than I like. Still in the early mornings when I visit the outposts I'm glad of an overcoat.
