My dear everybodys-
My last was posted a few days ago before we reached Malta & I sent a card from that island to Pater.
We anchored off Gibraltar for an hour & so had a splendid view of the fort & port. But no one landed. We just dropped the mails and came on. Hugging the African coast closely we reached Malta yesterday.
The passage was quite calm and uneventful . I put in about seven hours ashore and saw a bit of Valetta with its bells, yells and smells. It is a wonderful old place & the forts and cathedral
