Monday,  9 December 1918

Raining in morning, but cleared up later. I was orderly officer, so was about the lines all the morning. Rode over to Brancourt to try to get a match with the 8th Brigade for our second team but could not arrange it.

Had a football lecture at night in mess.

Warren & several diggers got away early to Paris on leave.
