Sunday, 23  June 1918

Fine, but windy. I was about the waggon lines writing letters all the morning & came up to the battery in the afternoon. Cody went down to the waggon lines & Warren went up to the forward gun in Villers Bretoneux. All the gunners changed over as well. Fritz was very quiet all day, but put a few round the guns in the evening.

I got a hat sent over from Townend's. I think George Ainsworth sent it over.
