Tuesday,    22 Jan 1918

Fine. I was in the gun parking  park all the morning giving the gunners laying. General Coxcon [possibly General Coxen] who was round inspecting at dinner time, he found fault with a lot of little trivial things, but think he was pleased. I had to go up to Neuve Eglise in the afternoon to a lecture on "Censorship". We all went into Bailleul in the evening to see the "Anzac Coves" & it was a jolly good show. Had dinner there afterwards. Met Poss Nivison  and he came home with us.
