Wednesday, 24  July 1918

Rain off & on all day. I went round to Bussy in morning & drew the pay & then on & saw the Agricultural officer & got a permit to cut crops. About the waggon lines all the afternoon. Coonie came back in the afternoon. Bill Jones & Quigley came up for dinner & Coonie & I went down there (25th) after & played cards.
