[June 11]

We did not go far today only knocked about Killie, & down past the old Dean.  We bid our good friends good bye this evening, there was about 20 se[e]ing us away we never saw in our life before we came to Killie, it is hard to leave, even going down to Northumberland.  We sat in the train after we got out of sight of our friends & nearly cried thinking about the kind friends.  We cannot detail our journey down, we travelled with Scotties.
