[April 6]

Received letters from Aunt Liz, home.

We had nothing to do so we went & watched the anti aircraft gun crews watching for German planes.  Went over to Bob & had a walk through Bapaume.  Went over to see the boys in the Bn after tea.  Pinnock got word today that he had to pack up & leave for Blighty & from B. to Aust tomorrow.  I was sorry to bid him goodbye because he was a fine mate.  Snowing tonight & cold.
