Early rise & early breakfast & just after 8 AM we went into the school room for our written exam which lasted till about 10.45, we could not give our 10 questions justice in the time. We had dinner & at 12 noon we marched out of school to a railway siden some 7 miles away. About 4 PM our train moved out, it was very slow & cold but we managed in fire in the old cattle truck & kept a bit warm. About 11 PM we arrived at Abeville & as we were stayed some hours we managed to get tea at YMCA.
