[December 6]

My word it is a very bitter frost this morning, just sufficent to waken me about 1 or 2 AM.  We had our ordinary parades from morning till 4.30 PM.  It has been bitter cold all day & everything is hard & frozen.  We are kept very busy at our school lesson, in fact I spend all my evenings in studying & etc.  There is two of us got 9 Ps on the board, but our oral exam may bowl me out.
