[November 13]

Parades about the same as yesterday, only buzzer practice from 5.30 till 6.30 instead of lamp.  My word it is very cold, & some ice on the water this morning.  We are all right up to the neck in work, especially the theory has us going a treat.  We are receiving bad news from Italy, making us feel certain the war will last a long time, so you can understand our feeling, around the fire in hut & to bed.
