[September 30]

We were awakened by heavy gun fire from our guns up towards the front line.  There must be some one hopping over.  We got our kits packed ready to move out.  At one oclock we left & got into the motor buses about 1.30.  We went right through Steenvoorde again, after we got out of the cars we had about 7 Kilemeters to march.  Our billets are very good, slept in a bed tonight with a Tommy.
