Wrote 12th letter home.

Ludgershall.

I pealed out of early parade to get washed & cleaned up ready to leave.  Fell in at 11 AM left about 1 PM at Stn 1.30 PM, in train at 2 PM left 2.30 (Ludgershall), Southampton at 4 PM on board 'Lydia' at 4.30.  Left at 7.15 PM, there is a lot of Tommies & Aussies on board.  Arrived at La Harve [Le Havre] about 1 AM & I awoke about 3.30 had some tea at 4.30 AM.  We are packed like herring in the hold of this ship & it is very hot.
