We fell in about 10 AM for the H.P. class, we did nothing in the morning & for ½ an hour in the afternoon we did a little playfair cypher.  I saw W. Donaldson after dinner & after tea I saw H. Beavis, I shall never forget him he gave me 10 francs & the only towel he had because I had none.  It has been a bit cold today & it is windy & raining tonight.  We hear Fritz is retiring right behind Bapaume.
