What a disgrace, it is Sunday & they have us on digging that drain this morning, the Tommies are not walking on the road. We knocked off at dinner time for the day, spent the rest of the day sitting around the fire in our hut, it is very very cold, there is snow & ice all over. We expect to move into the line on the 24th inst.
