2/      Certainly it was a miles bigger crowd than on the occasion of the Lord Mayors Show.   And the weather was gorgeous, real fine and warm like old Australia.   There seemed no end to the cheering crowds.   The Australian Light Horse led the way (after the bands &  a dozen or so men from The Australian Navy).

I was second in command  of the Light Horse, and in the leading Company.   They were a magnificient (specially selected) body of men fiauts?  indeed.   All along the line of march I heard the spontaneous ejaculations
