I'm so glad you enjoyed the Fleet Street dinner. I could not help wishing that you were hiding somewhere behind the scenes.   Do you remember Ian Hamilton telling me I ought to go to London and buy myself in Fleet Street?

Got a letter this morning from Gwendolyn Hogue.   I think she must be just lonely.

Have got a big mail in so must get busy.   I'm so glad I did not go on Monday.   I might have missed all the good  news for weeks and weeks.   Best love to mither and all...

Remember me very kindly to Flo. Run along to Peggy Lyall now and then and give her my love.

I'm reg'lar cock a hoop today.

Bro Ol
