2/      up at the Vale for a spell & I guess you've earned it.    They are having a fine Anzac Day celebration in London on Tuesday.   But our draft is booked for Egypt & so we cannot get along.

I've had a wonderful time in old England & everybody has been awfully kind to me. I've nearly fallen in love about a dozen times but I guess I'm not the marrying kind.   Yet... give my love to Lodya. Hope her car's mended. Tell Phil & Sid I'll write soon. Tell Tren  several of the boys recognised her ugly phiz on the back of my book in the London bookstalls..
