Friday 4th June
A trip to Town etc. Egypt bathing in her scorching summer sun. Sent letters etc. Met Sergt Stewart, came home late - found they had moved me to another Tent A3 in place of A10. A number of my tent chums left that morning to be placed on board a hospital ship as assistants. They were all cases to be discharged later as not fit for service etc.
Saturday 5th June
Nothing fresh. New cases arriving each day and batches leaving for the Base Details.
