Resting headquarters), to a little village just off the main road to Estaples, called Cormont. Here, we discovered the 3rd, & very shortly after my arrival, (nearly two years after I left them) we were paid received mail & a drop of tea; showing how they look after the boys.
Nov 24th
Since I have been with the boys I have got to know some of the new ones, & had good yarns with the old ones.
We are billeted in an old farm building in a hay loft over the main denuded rooms, & are fairly comfortable. We rise at 6.45 for parade at 7, march a short distance & then have breakfast.
