Owing to his peregrinations in leading me to Poperinge, Eva is now the "surveyor" or the "guide", & we laugh a good deal over such quips. While Gray & I are in the refreshment room, talking war to a semi-religious French Canadian with no great insight into the ways of nations; Pinky & Eva are playing "house" in an estaminet.

Tomorrow the 1st Div Newforces camp moves to a new site up the main road, & we (A.M.C.) are to parade with full marching order at 8.30 perhaps to move
