in understanding the bugle calls. The mess hut was at the bottom of the two rows we occupied then, in Fovant Camp, & Dingo soon found by the appeal from his stomach, which call brought the boys to this hut, here he was always fed.
Thus he learned several calls, & in particular the regimental call of the A.M.C.; All others having no interest for him.
When the 16th went to Parkhouse camp, Dingo, who from a little short haired black ball, had grown to an awkward black pup, accompanied them.
