The whole of the 1st Division comes out of the line soon, & the 3rd is even now on the way south, so it looks as if we shall have a poor chance of joining up with them. As the 1st has lost heavily it seems likely that we of the 3rd may be sent to them instead.
Gray & I have regularly visited our friends at the refreshment rooms, & I have had several interesting talks with Mlle [indecipherable]
The romance has its sequel a few days ago, when she got married to her fiance. Since then she has got him extra leave on account of imaginary
