About 6 A.M. detrained & the rumour arose of a six mile march to a rest camp for rest of day, whereat was weeping & knashing of teeth.
Camp proved to be at back of station & was a series of sheds with a splendid canteen at the side of the docks on the Seine opposite the large hill South of the town proper. Got a fair view of the town (second visit of mine) from the
