with 200 rounds of ammo. Rode about forty miles looking for enemy supposed to be in vicinety, found their camp & burnt most of their tents & chattels. took several prisoners. most of the fighting force had Imshied as fast as their camels & donks could carry them, They light fires to warn each other when we are coming, We arrived back in camp at 7 pm.
15th/ Up at 5 am. on the road for next well, took many poor harmless prisoners en route, of course they may have been spies,
