We got out at Neitoun at 5.30 & I was by no means sorry as it was the worse trip I have had & ever want, we saddled up & was soon writ riding down to to the racecoarse that we left some weeks previous. We received a cheer from all the reinforcements in camp, we must have looked breakups, as most of our clothes were torn or worn out. We soon water & feed up the horses. We then handed back all equipment belonging to the 9th Regt. & get our discharge from the Composite Regt & make
