4/ 6th L.H. Regt. arrived here from Seraphim, saw some of the old boys.

6/ Most of the N Zealand troops left here supposed to be going to France.

There is very little news to enter up at present, but I must tell you what happened to the 14th Brigade of Infantry. There were two brigades of Infantry to come from Tel el Kebir to Ismaila or Seraphim, the weather was terrible hot & trucks were available for both brigades, one CO said his men were soldiers & he would march his men down
