the flies are begining to get a pest again. There have been several batches of 2nd Brigade men arriving back from England lately, they all look well. Most of them left the Peninsular sick or wound. We have been doing some range shooting lately its great practise. The boys that were in the Composite Regt have been issued with new clothes at last & now we look more like soldiers & able to hold ourselves up to the best of any.
