Jan 22/ Transferred to 2nd troop B. squadron. Had a go in with officer over fitness of horse I was given so I transferred back to details with the boys Capt. Caines is CO of details, he is a good old sport, but a slow hand at paying men he must believe in being sure but slow where cash is concerned.
Jan 30th Went in to Cairo with Baker Campbell & Dawe Currie & Pat O'Keffe. Had a good time.
