again on us, They were mounted upon Arab horses, camels & some even on donkeys.
They soon decided that we were too good for them & then they made for the nearest ridge, & we kept following up, we lost a few, but nothing like they lost.
We had several engagements like the above during the day. but the biggest came after lunch. We halted for a while to feed the horses & have our Xmas Day dinner which consisted of a tin of beef to two men & two
