We retreated back to camp with 26 prisoners which we should have never taken as they are very cruel devils when they find our wounded
Their women folk are fighting with them, they finish off the wounded.
It is alleged by the Indians that after a battle the women traverse the field with knives under their dresses & they cut & torture all the poor wounded.
