We rode in half sections & made it look as if there were double the number.
It was a ruse to let the niggers see that their was still plenty of troops left in Egypt. The niggers have been playing up with Turks urging them on

Left Mex camp at 11.30 pm My old horse Kaisa Bill gave me a good fly for freedom but I managed to sit him.
We entrained at Gabarry Station for some unknown
