This little book contains a diary of my travels since leaving Sydney on October 30th 1915 on the Argylshire.
Jan 14/1/15
Enlisted at Victoria Barracks for the Light Horse.
16th/
Went into camp at Liverpool. 28 miles from Sydney on main Southern line. We marched down from the station to the camp, there were about fifty of us; The quartermaster soon dished out blankets & eating utensils, & the next thing was tea oh, plenty of bread & jam if nothing else; then the few old soldiers among the crowd
