Cairo & the train was rushed by a crowd of niggers selling all kinds of fruit & cigarettes.
The noise of them shouting out oringars & other pecular names. I shall never forget.
There was no tucker for us when we arrived at the camp so we had to go into Heliopolis for a feed & the niggers did try & do us on the prices as we had English money.
We learnt next day that we were not reconized for 24 hrs so we again to Heliopolis for breakfast & then proceeded to see this wicked Cairo that we had heard so much of. We had to learn their
