sentences have been included, but little investigation
of language structure was attempted. The Murawari
vocabulary represents the Northern dialect (as
distinct from Baranbinja the Southernn dialect)
and is imperfect but the Ju.a:laiai and Gwomu
informants were quite fluent in their respective
languages.
The informants were:
Gwomu. - Willie Willis born at Willamurra
Station [illegible]. 1890 resident 50 years in the Goodong
district. Mrs. West. "Gooroyabar" (name
unknown)
Ju:'p:lai ni - Mrs. G. Rose born at Meemae
Qld 1880 (Mrs. Rose native name Daiq^lijowai
