sickness. Her affection is very deep (for him), & she seems to be quite full of sensibility.
The mere fact of having a homely chat & exchanging thoughts on the wonders & horrors of life, is stimulating to me.

The verse: -
Ah love, could thou & I with Fate conspire
To grasp this sorry scheme of things entire.
Would we not shatter it to bits
And then remould it nearer to our hearts desire.
