Two ships passed, one was the Ballarat which had left before us & had called into Aden.
Two birds like Kesterels are perched upon the yards all day.
We were paid the sum of 14/- so there will be a little game of two-up & cards going again, about two men have got the last pay now. Won it at two-up etc.
The final of the boxing tournament carried out. Some good fights occurred.
I was picked out for Ships gaurd when we reach port.
