Grand parade for Minister of Parliament. Went to Lewisham to fix up bank account.
Said good bye to brother Sid & all at Lewisham
Sept 30th/
Up at 3.30 am. breakfast at 4-45 entraindes at Liverpool at 5 am. arrived Sydney 6-21 am
It was great to hear every available whistle on the engines give us a send off, We were meet at the station by crowds of people who gave plenty of tobacco, sweets etc, then for the march down to the troopship, there were 1200 of us in all with the infantry what a sight to be sure.
