10/Mr. Henley M.L.A. of Burwood came over from Alex. with gifts from Aust: he issued them personaly & every man got something. He then gave us a little lecture & I can say the boys gave him some rousing cheers in not forgetting us so far out in the desert.
We are all busy in exchanging letters & notes that were enclosed in the parcels & writing thanking the senders.
11/Roumour on foot that we are leaving for Alexandria. Received letters from Eng: & Aust. Went down to Dorset Yeomanry to look
