Then there seems to be a chance that we shall be withdrawn from here and shall go to Europe. That is the current rumour, & some hardy liars (I think) even declare that the 4th Regt has already gone.
Then we shall have no more of these unpleasant stunts, the gentle reader has (probably) no idea how unpleasant it is to go riding on & on over endless sand using all one's muscular energy in a futile attempt to keep ones eyes open.

We have had very dull days lately nothing at all has happened, no aeroplanes, not even a rumour
