such my My main impression of it is an intense desire, sometimes for water, sometimes for tobacco; and above all an overwhleming overwhelming sense of irritable sleepiness inable to be appeased: for from 6 oclock on Monday morning until 2 oclock Thursday morning I only had four hours of sleep altogether.
My only comment is "God forbid that we shall go on many more of these obnoxious affairs"
As you see I tried taking my diary with me and jotting down things as they occurred, but it is not much good as one has not time, inclination or enough light.
